"Uta Barth"
Looking at Barths work she seems to take he photographs outside focusing on objects that release lights such as traffic lights or head lights. Her work is seems to represent the style of photography "bokeh lights". Bokeh lights is the creative and inventive blur which is produced by a lens. Her work is very unique, and the formal elements she seems to focus on is light and focus. Light, like previously said, is coming from outside moving objects or colourful objects. Light is coming from different directions, but overall it is directly proportional to the lens (most of the time). allowing a larger blur of the light to be seen. The lights seem to be diffused with soft and light shadows, simply because of the lack of focus. The image is very out of focus, but the viewer is still able to see what the environment is in the photograph. The focus, creates a smooth and soft blur in the image, which may create a mellow mood and it seems to be less chaotic.
